Who was Genevieve Pace? Born in 1899 and married to John in 1920 at the old Methodist church building. An avid and talented seamstress, embroiderer, and cook, her talents were valued at home and at work. Mrs. Pace was a writer for the local Todd County Standard newspaper for more than 50 years. She held the position of mayor of Allensville for 27 years with an all female city council.
